My Own Reflections on Christ’s Comfort
It is in Christ alone, we have fullness of joy. It is at His feet, we must wait. It is by His power, we are given patience. It is through His presence, we are granted peace.
In every sorrow, we must flee into the safety of the love and compassion of our Savior. In every joy, we should celebrate the moment with our Maker. In the unknown, we rest only in the One who knows.
We do not suffer alone. Jesus is our burden-bearer. He is not rude. Christ does not carry fully a burden that we will not release to Him.
God is a lovingly jealous God. He helps His own recognize when His own serve another. He will remove the barriers to a pure relationship with Him.
The Lord sees what others do not. Trust that He knows.
