Living with MS

Diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis for five years now and having a younger sister who has lived with MS for 14 years, I share on this blog some things I have learned that offer help and hope with the struggles of this illness. I plan to share more about this journey and the Lord’s help in the day to day joys and difficulties.

  1. Brooke,
I cannot begin to tell you the extreme pride I have had in both you and your sister Brenna for the way you have both bravely faced and tackled the challenges of MS. You probably do not remember it, but when you were both little girls, I would tell you something that has been one of my sayings for decades, “What happens to us in life is no where near as important as how we react to what happens to us.” Then I would explain what that meant in little girl terms . You have faced other difficult challenges in your life with that same winning attitude, and it will always serve you well as it does now. I am very proud of your winning attitude of gratitude and love you very much. Dad
